JG-MARINE Co. Ltd. Independent Surveyors and Loss Adjusters is a company based on sound traditions of three generations of master mariners.

Initially our services were mainly related to maritime transport, hull & machinery, P&I matters etc, what is still the main core of our activity. As our company developed, we expanded the scope of our activities to cargo, CMR and other non-marine surveys by employing educated and skilled personnel. Apart from the loss adjusting and cargo survey work, in this part of the Baltic we are known for surveys on heavy lift projects, preparation of loadout manuals & procedures and various warranty surveys. Our surveyors are trained by DNV in risk assessment, accident investigation and analysis.

Our offices are in three convenient locations:

at Sopot, in between Gdynia and Gdansk, at Szczecin in western Poland on the border with Germany, and in Warsaw the capital of Poland, where co-ordination of surveys inland is being done. Our offices are equipped with the necessary technical literature and publications, but also our private maritime museum includes the first navigation manuals of the 17-th century, and you are always welcome to visit us. We are officially appointed as claims survey agents for Allianz Global & Specialty and have been nominated as average agents for CESAM, Paris. We are also part of other global loss adjusting networks such as W.E.Cox, W.K. Webster, etc.

A permanent multilingual staff of ten people i.e. auditors, loss adjusters, surveyors, marine engineers and cargo experts is at your service

and we always ensure a high quality service and a safe working environment. We also provide qualified legal assistance in relation to any matter that may arise in Poland. Our in-house legal department and corresponding lawyers cover all scopes of legal aspects. We are a member of the International Transport Intermediaries Club Ltd. and hold a certificate of liability insurance.
